Rochdale 3 - 0 Yeovil

Mani Dieseruvwe scored twice in the first half to move to the top of the National League scoring charts as Rochdale secured a 3-0 win over Yeovil.

Dieseruvwe opened the scoring after just five minutes, slotting Kyron Gordon's cross home from close range. The 30-year-old summer signing added his 11th goal of the season on the half-hour mark following a break from the halfway line, before Ryan East struck the hosts’ third just before half-time.

Yeovil threatened to respond after the interval, with Josh Sims having a shot blocked and Luke McCormick sending the resulting corner over the crossbar, but Rochdale maintained their clean sheet.

For Dale, Barlow saw a left-footed effort go wide and had a free-kick blocked by the Yeovil wall, while Allarakhia and Rodney both had shots from inside the area denied.

Allarakhia and Dieseruvwe were again thwarted as McNulty’s side pressed for a fourth, and substitute Tyler Smith had a shot saved by Ward.

Harvey Gilmour had a strike deflected over the bar, and Connor McBride, coming off the bench, saw a shot from the edge of the area blocked by Ward’s legs.

Smith had another effort saved by the goalkeeper, and the game’s final attempt came from Yeovil, with Luke McCormick hitting the underside of the crossbar.

Altrincham 1 - 3 Woking

Josh Kelly scored from the penalty spot as Woking moved comfortably to a National League victory at Altrincham.

Ashley Boatswain put the visitors ahead in the 24th minute and was denied a second by a fine save from Altrincham goalkeeper Louie Fallon shortly afterwards.

The hosts levelled nine minutes before half-time when Jimmy Knowles converted Kahrel Reddin’s cross past Will Jaaskelainen, but Woking regained the lead six minutes later through Jack Turner, who turned sharply before firing home.

The result was sealed in the 83rd minute when Kelly converted a penalty after being brought down in the box by Sam Reed, ensuring a 3-1 victory for Woking.

After conceding that third goal, the home side struggled to form a response in the final minutes. With Woking defending compactly, allowing for a smooth sailing end to the game for the visitors.

After what had been a fairly promising start to the season, Altrincham have now only picked one point from their last six matches and are dangerously close to the relegation zone.

One Alty fan told us after the game: "I'm getting worried. We need to start up picking up some points. This has been an awful run.
