There's a lot going on.

Spot the return of another group of Britpop legends.

Friday 21 November

Tinie Tempah | Performing live in London

Tinie Tempah at Club Academy

A Tinie Tempah gig always promises to be a good laugh and a fantastic night out. If you can still get tickets, I’d still get one and join the fun.

Lucy Spraggan at Manchester Academy

Lucy Spraggan is recognised for a distinctive mix of folk, pop and indie, with sets that balance personal reflection and bright, uplifting moments. Audiences can expect a lively performance that moves between energetic favourites and more stripped-back, acoustic pieces.

Elsewhere

  • ABC at O2 Apollo Manchester
  • Adam Ant at Bridgewater Hall

Saturday 22 November

Cast | Performing as support at Heaton Park
Cast perform at Heaton Park

Cast at Albert Hall

One of the most interesting stories from the Oasis reunion gigs was the return of Cast to the attention of Britpop and Indie fans.  It’s strange how that era pretty much threw up the entire spectrum of success stories over the course of its brief nineties heyday - Oasis, the titanic stadium-fillers, Blur, whose constant reinventions never harmed their commercial appeal, Pulp, the critical darlings, and then the likes of Cast. This gig will be another fantastic trip down memory lane.

Groove Armada at Manchester Museum

Made up of Andy Cato and Tom Findlay, the EDM duo responsible for the chart-topping singles “I See You Baby” and “Superstylin”. This will be taking place in a rather unique spot that is sure to make it a memorable night.

Hits Radio Live at Co-op Live

A massive concert featuring the likes of Olly Murs, Tinie Tempah, Jax Jones, Craig David, Ella Henderson, Sugababes, and Myles Smith.

Sunday 23 November

Tune-Yards at Aviva Studios

One of the more interesting and unique gigs that is taking place this weekend. One reader told GM Super News: “When I last saw them, there was a fantastic energy going through the venue before the electric mix of drumming and singing even began to fill its walls. “
