The club is more aware of its issues
Patrick, a Manchester United Season Ticket holder, said; "I’m confident the club are fully aware of the issues we have in attack and are doing everything they can to address them, with the signing of Cunha and the possible arrival of two more forward players.
"Let’s be honest, if we’d had a 20- or 30-goal striker last season, we wouldn’t have found ourselves in that position on the final day, it would have made a significant difference.

The Red Cafe forum has an entire thread dedicated to this optimism
On this thread, one user named Tallis gave a detailed list of fans should be optimistic. Here's the first three points.
- We will have a whole new front 3. Goals was the biggest issue so that should address it at least partially.
- Hopefully, we will have a new GK. We must have dropped 5-10 points because of Onana.
- Players understand the system particularly in defense and winning the ball back. Some work needs to be done in attack but a pre-season and new front 3 should help.
